Being a professional artist for over 15 years, Linda Tennant has paintings that are inspired by flowers, landscapes, animals and architecture. Capturing the joy of summer, moody landscapes, playful animals and famous landmarks, Linda’s paintings are modern, abstract and traditional, bringing a sense of serenity when admired.
The artist’s artistry is not only measured in the variety of subjects, but in the variety of mediums used. Linda’s artworks show a profound mastery of oils, acrylics as well as watercolours. Each subject requires a certain medium and Linda has an innate feel as to what mediums suit each of her subjects. Tackling both traditional and contemporary styles, Linda’s paintings appeal to a wide range of customers. While contemporary pieces include mainly abstract artworks and floral paintings in acrylic and mixed media, traditional paintings capture landscapes in watercolour with some very British features: the much-loved bluebells, fiery poppy fields or atmospheric images from the Lake District.
Appealing to the traditional art lover, Linda also paints pet portraits in oils and she is very happy to take commissions. Simply send her some good quality images on a CD with your pet and she will send you the finished copy for your approval.
Here is what one of her customers said about Linda’s work: ‘Hi, we now have our lovely painting hanging in the living room and we had to get in touch with you to let you know how pleased we are with it. It is lovelier than we had hoped, you have captured it very well, the colours, depth and framing are all first class. We are proud to have it in our home and think it will become a family heirloom!’
At Art2Arts we are delighted to host Linda Tennant’s work. Every time she uploads one of her paintings, the home page is full of colour and optimism. Her artworks found new homes in private collections all over the world, including Europe, America, Canada, New Zealand, Serbia and Australia. We see them in all kinds of interiors, from modern and contemporary to traditional, from cottages to holiday accommodations.
As our aim is to offer artists a platform where they can sell their art safely and where they can present themselves to art lovers, we hope that Linda Tennant will continue to share her work with us for many years to come.

Raising funds for the British Heart Foundation is close to my heart, I struggle with a rare heart condition which affects more women than men. It is often dismissed by Doctors as Anxiety, Stress or Reflux and patients are being sent home from A&E with the same problem and usually still with chest pain.
We need to raise funding for research into this so that Doctors in all departments of hospitals are up to date with the risks this brings and to treat patients correctly with the right protocol.
I am donating 5% of sales from my artwork, I have set a target of £1000.00 I will continue to do this until I have reached it and then hopefully continue thereafter.
Please share this with all your friends to make this possible, this condition is Coronary Vascular Disease which causes the small micro vessels to spasm reducing the blood and oxygen flow to the heart and the patient experiences Angina pain.
